“How to Eat?” It’s Time to Learn!

Food Freedon with Coach Barb Banner www.midweststoryteller.com

These two free sessions are for you if you live within driving distance of the Boonville, Missouri area. We’re going to learn a lot and we’re even going to be doing some taste testing! After all, who wants to eat healthy if it isn’t going to be absolutely fabulous! And, who wants to lose weight if they feel deprived and like they’re restricted to rabbit or caveman food?

Maybe – just maybe – you’re overwhelmed by conflicting information concerning what’s healthy and what’s not healthy for your family.

Please share. I know you know someone who really needs this! It’s absolutely free, but you’ll need to reserve a seat by calling the library.

  1. Hmm, wonder what it might have for people who have several different neurological and endocrine diseases which reduce how much energy their body can produce all the way down to the mitochondrial level, and the times where what energy was available was burned up going to do laundry or to an appointment or to the grocery store or to a group meeting or those days where simply getting ready to go somewhere has burned up all the energy which was going to be used to do the going.

Or where your hands and arms are too painful and stiff and puffy to slice and dice and saute because you decided that, dang it, haven’t done a hobby or writing for weeks, so I’m doing something today and whatever the consequence is is the consequence & food, if any, will either be a box from the freezer which goes in the microwave; or something in plastic that I picked up from C&R or Walmart a couple days ago.

Gee, if I was just entering the room and seeing the above editorial I’d think we have something of a rather frustrated person here.

    1. I hear you, Scott! It might not hurt to learn more about this, as we will be talking about how to eat to support your adrenal glands (you can’t have much energy if you are taxing those to the max all the time) and also about how to take the inflammatory foods from your diet without being totally frustrated all the time. The issues are real, but there’s no sense in hurting any more than you have to.

        1. I’m bringing some paper and pens for people to take notes. I started to do handouts, but then checked myself, because I really believe people retain better if they write things down themselves – so I disciplined myself not to make handouts, because I’m a handout kinda gal. Of course, if you have a favorite notebook/pen whatever you like to record notes in, just go ahead and bring those.
