It is March at last and spring is only a couple of weeks away. My First Friday Freebie, however, has already arrived! Unlike spring, it only lasts for a day, so read on and spring into action!
Although we’ll be celebrating the Resurrection in April, I wanted to offer this little gift early so that you could have it in time to incorporate it into your seasonal décor. Take a look.

This wooden décor is a Hobby Lobby find that reminds us of the reason for the season. The horizontal grooves give a nod to shiplap and the attached wooden Cross gives a 3D effect. It measures 5” X 5” and is a reverse tray design, so it will sit or hang easily as it declares, “He’s Alive and I’m Forgiven”.
I don’t mind a few bunnies and eggs around in celebration of the new life that springs forth at this time of year, but most importantly, I love to celebrate “new life” in its grandest meaning.
To enter to win the forgiven décor, the first thing you need to do is become an email subscriber if you haven’t already done so. The “SUBSCRIBE” button should be floating along as you scroll this page. Then, “Leave a Comment” on this post, saying, “Celebrate the Greatest Gift!”

Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Regardless as to whether you are Irish, (after all, he wasn’t), it’s a great time to commemorate such a man who had nothing to do with shamrocks, good luck and green beer. I’m looking forward to teaching Lil’ Snookie and Fruity Pebbles the real story of how the gospel was spread through Ireland by someone who had no desire to be there! Curious? I’ll tell you all about it on the big day.
Do you celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day? Leave a comment and tell me how!
