February has come to be known as the month of love. Often, if focuses on either romantic attachments (take your sweetie out for dinner and include roses and chocolates) or the fun of children have when we teach them to make and give classmates, friends and parents a handmade expression of “You’re special to me.”
Often, the former overshadows the most important form of love in our lives – our family. I realize that not everyone reading this has pleasant family memories that evoke feelings of love, but we all do have the opportunity to build or repair family relationships that will someday give us new memories – beautiful ones.
My Valentine to you this month focuses on family love. Take a look.
This standing wooden décor by Willow Spring will remind those in your home that family is “WHERE LIFE BEGINS AND LOVE NEVER ENDS”. It measures 6 ¾” at its widest point and the same in height. Valentine’s Day is a week away and I know I need to gather my supplies and get ready for the fun. I’ll be up to my eyebrows in paper, glue and creativity this coming week and Lil’ Snookie, Fruity Pebbles and I make as many Valentines as we can.
