I’m happy to announce that I’m giving away FREE books this Saturday!
I’ll be at the BRAND NEW public library in Boonvlle, Missouri. If you haven’t had a tour of Boonslick Regional Library since the’ve moved, this will be a great time to do that and enter the drawing for a free book for the kiddos at the same time.
Some of my readers may not know that I’ve also written a history book/storybook and illustrated this coloring book to introduce young readers to places and events in the local area. It gives them a way to connect with landmarks and history that they may pass by every day and yet know nothing about. Join us Saturday when I’ll be giving away SEVEN copies! Children can explore the new library while the grown-ups join me for “book talk” and maybe get a signed copy of “Answer My Call”, my newly released novel. Every half hour from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, we’ll draw a winning name from amongst those who enter. You’ll find me on the main level near the front entrance.
Be aware that signage for the library is not complete at this point, so be aware that you can park on Third Street and in the State Fair Community College parking area in front of the library. Alternately, you can go around and park in the rear and enter that way. Both ways are wheelchair accessible.
That’s this Saturday, October 3rd at Boonslick Regional Library (Boonville Branch), 707 Third Street in Boonville, Missouri from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The event is found on the library’s website and Facebook pages as well, so you can invite friends from there.
